 Two-Part Interpretive Programming

(Year Round)

We have developed this two-part interpretive program to fuel your students' excitement for the outdoors. The idea is simple. We will step into your classroom prior to your visit to Wascana Centre and pique your students’ interest in what they can experience right in their own city! You can pick and choose which in-class presentation and in-park activity best suits your curriculum needs. All in-class presentations include a visit from our ambassador Short-eared Owl, Poa. Ideally, we would visit your classroom during the winter months and have you visit us during the spring, summer, or fall. As well, we prefer that you reserve one in-class presentation and one in-park activity together, but either can be booked independently.

    • A complete listing and description of all in-park activities can be found here.

  • In-Class Presentations
    • Here you will find the entire listing and description of our in-class presentations. Presentations range from 30 - 60 minutes in length, and will be tailored to suit the particular age and grade level.

**Please note that all programming provided above is free of charge. We do however graciously accept any donations your classroom is willing to make. All contributions go directly to our programming and include supplying Poa with enough mice, maintaining the Habitat Conservation Area, and ensuring our programming can continue to provide a unique opportunity for students. Wascana Centre Authority is a registered charity, so all donations over $10 will receive a tax receipt.
