On Saturday, December 31 the Conexus Arts Centre, the Saskatchewan Science Centre and Wascana Centre Authority will be hosting FREE, FAMILY, FESTIVE & FUN entertainment to kick start 2017's Canada 150 celebrations.
The event will begin at noon on Saturday, December 31 with an outdoor opening ceremony at the Conexus Arts Centre. Cake and cookies will be served and a beautiful ice sculpture of the symbolic Canada 150 logo will be displayed for photo opportunities.
Wascana Centre will be hosting free skating throughout the day at the rink in the Marina. Wagon Rides will also take place from 1:00pm to 5:30pm departing from Wascana Place. (see map below)

Ruggieri Fireworks & Special Effects will put on a spectacular display of Canada 150 fireworks on the lake in front of the Conexus Art Centre. The fireworks will be set at 6 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.

FREE Regina Transit services will be provided throughout the afternoon between all three venues. Transit will be in 15 minute intervals from 11:30 a.m. until 6:45 p.m.
