Wascana Centre is proud to offer 3 different picnic option this July! 

July 10, 5pm to 7pm

Wascana Centre partnered with Wascana Marathon Canoe Club to offer this evening Picnic and Paddle. Participants will be paddling together in groups of 8 in a 26’ Voyageur Class Canoe from the Marina to Willow Island. Supper will be a Classic Cheeseburger with fries from Leopold’s Tavern. Gluten free and veggie options available. Cost is $40/person and includes boat rental and meal. Children must be 10 years or older.

July 17, 11:30 to 1:00pm 

Wascana Centre partnered with Wascana Canoe and Kayak Club, and Skye Café & Bistro to offer this Picnic and Paddle. Participants have the choice of paddling from the Marina to Willow Island in a single kayak, double kayak or canoe (fits up to 4). Cost is $60 and includes boat rental and meal for 2. Extra meals can be added on.
If child is under the age of 16, a parent or guardian must be present. Program not recommended for children under the age of 1.
Lunch includes choice of sandwich, in-house made potato chips, beverage and fruit). Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options all available.

Wascana Centre is offering a fully accessible picnic on the island. Get ferried over to Willow Island where your choice of lunch from Wallnuts Expressive Catering will be waiting for you. Cost if $25/person and includes boat rental and meal.
